Starting at Ludlow Rugby Club and finishes at Ludlow Castle

The inaugural Storm The Castle Duathlon is already causing a stir in the Multisport community. Set in the picturesque market town of Ludlow and the stunning surrounding countryside of Shropshire & Herefordshire, it offers a genuine challenge to athletes of all abilities. Both the run and bike course are tough with sections of rolling hills mixed in with some seriously steep sections, making it arguably the UK’s toughest duathlon.

Ooh La La nights presents 'Little Rumba'

Deep in the Welsh Marches amidst the most beautiful scenery you will find one of the most extraordinary bands in Britain. They have been hiding away, playing the pubs and parties of the Welsh Borders for the last twenty years, honing their remarkable rich romantic tunes. Only recently have they emerged to share them with the world. Little Rumba’s musicians come from very different musical backgrounds which is why the band presents such a unique blend of styles.

The Singing Bird Will Come

Pop up cinema event of a ghost film shot in Staffordshire and Shropshire. A girl is forced to return to her hometown from London after her mother's death and the break-up of her relationship. Taking a job as a night cleaner in a restaurant, she is troubled by the appearance of the ghost of a girl who disappeared years ago. a mystery unfolds around her, putting her in danger of meeting the same fate.

Shropshire Hills Art Week

We are one of many venues within the shropshire hills that are showcasing the best art from within them.

Designated in 1958, the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is one of Britain’s finest landscapes, tucked between the Midlands and the Welsh uplands. The hills, rolling farmland, woods and river valleys of this varied and special landscape are rich in geology and wildlife and ingrained with heritage. Stunning views are almost taken for granted by those who live and work here, but they have long been an inspiration to writers, artists and crafts people.

'Showing off' Craft Show

The Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Craft is holding its successful “Showing Off” show on Sunday 14th June at the Ludlow Brewing Company. There will be twenty or so designer makers from in and around the county showing and selling their individually handcrafted work in this spectacular setting. Come and see fine furniture; ceramics; textiles; glass; sculpture; jewellery; woodwork and much more.

Tues 23rd June - JOE LYCETT is a British comedian. He has appeared on TV shows including Live At The ApolloNever Mind the Buzzcocks8 out of 10 Cats and as the announcer on Saturday BBC One show Epic Win.

Wed 24th June- GARY DELANEY is a razor sharp one-liner comedian, who is widely regarded as being the most quotable comic on the circuit. The sheer number of outstanding gags leaves the audience struggling to remember them all. Gary is a regular guest on Mock The Week and has also appeared on Dave's 'One Night Stand', Comedy Central's ‘The Comedy Store’ and 'Comedy Blue', and on Channel 4’s ‘Robert’s Web’. He has also been on Radio 4’s ‘Loose Ends’, Radio 5’s ‘7 Day Saturday’ and Radio 2’s ‘Russell Kane’s Whistle-Stop Tour’.

Thurs 25th June- TOM STADE - Since arriving in the UK, Canadian émigré Tom Stade has steadily earned a reputation as one of the most original and exciting stand-up talents around. He instantly made a splash on the UK circuit with his magnetic stage presence, irrepressible charm and first-class story-telling. He has starred of the BBC' one 'Live at the Apollo' and Michael McIntyres comedy roadshow.

KATE SMURTHWAITE performs all over the UK and around the world at major clubs including The Comedy Store, Comedy Cafe, The Stand, Covent Garden Comedy Club, Soho Comedy Club and Crack Comedy Club. She also writes and tours an annual solo show of highbrow left wing comedy under the name The News At Kate which has been a feature of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival since 2009. In 2013 she won a Three Week's Editor's Choice Award.

Shakespeare at the Brewery

Shakespeare's magical romance is considered a masterpiece of the final years of his solo playwriting career, demonstrating transition from plots about revenge to ones where forgiveness and grace become the overriding themes.

Burwarton Show

The story of Burwarton Show goes back over 110 years to 1891 when the Burwarton & District Farmers Club held the first ever Burwarton Show in a field just to the north of the village. Burwarton Show is a great day out for all the family with something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day.

Brimfield Working Day

The annual club working day is held on the 1st Sunday in September. This event raises money for a number of charities.
Ludlow Brewery provide the bar for the show with a number of stalls and activities to get involved in.
