SSBC- The Sultana Brothers

Friday 27th January

THE SULTANA BROTHERS- Since the formation of The Sultana Brothers in 1995 they have been dedicated to playing the best music around. With influences in R&B, Rock ‘N’ Roll, Blues and Rock the band have continued to receive glowing reviews, with fans coming back time after time.

Having spent the early years cutting their teeth and developing a sound of their own in the local pubs and clubs The Sultana Brothers have now become one of the most acclaimed bands in the midlands. The band has supported many top acts over the years including Shakin’ Stevens, Chris Farlow, Nine Below Zero, Steve Gibbons, John Coghlans Quo and Mike Sanchez to name but a few. The solid combination of Phil (drums) and Geoff (bass) gives the rhythm section a power and feel that’s second to none. Put Adams boogie piano and Daves sensational guitar work on top and an unbelievable mix of Rhythm & Blues explodes.

With Support from Jack Brett & Blue Moon.

Tickets £10 and are available online @

or at Ludlow Brewery and Ludlow's Cancer Research shop.

The event is in aid of Cancer Research UK.

28th February- 3rd March

7.30 start

**** The Guardian
This stunning stage play by James Fritz which will have the audience both gripped and guessing throughout.

Seventeen year old Jack is the apple of his mother’s eye. Di and David have devoted their whole lives to giving him every opportunity they never had – and as a result, Jack is smart, outgoing, and well on his way to achieving the grades to study Law at Durham University.

But a startling incident outside the school gates threatens to ruin everything they’ve striven for, an incident that suggests a deep hatred of their son… As events begin to accelerate, Di and David start to doubt Jack’s closest friends, Jack himself, and ultimately themselves – who can they trust?

In a world where smartphones are ubiquitous, James Fritz’s deeply provocative and topical drama throws a light on the sorts of insidious opportunities new technology offers – where nothing dies online, except reputation.

Four minutes twelve seconds was runner up for the Verity Bargate Award last year. and first performed at the Hampstead Theatre.
