Events at the Brewery:

Edge Chamber Choir

February 15th

7.30pm-11pm

Now we are five

Although it may seem like the Edge Chamber Choir has been an established and highly regarded part of the music scene in Ludlow and the surrounding area for a long time, the choir is only just coming up to its 5th birthday. In 'Now we are 5', Edge will be celebrating those 5 years in a concert packed full of the favourite music of their audiences and the choir.

To complete the party atmosphere, the concert will take place in the Ludlow Brewery on Friday 15 February at 7.30pm. As space is limited, make sure of your tickets (adults £12, children up to 16 £???) by contacting Ludlow Brewery on 01584 873291

Ros Crouch, Director of Music, says, “I am thrilled that Edge has made such an impact on the classical music scene in this area and that we have managed to find singers of such a high quality in a rural area. This is an achievement really worth celebrating.”

Pieces performed will range from Mendelssohn, Elgar and Grieg at one end to Whitacre, Lauridsen, MacMillan and Chilcott at the other. A past highlight was Edge's concert of Scandinavian music and from that repertoire the choir couldn't resist including three beautiful Icelandic songs. Come and join them as they celebrate by singing again some of the gorgeous music they have performed over the past 5 years.
